Bupa Redwood Care Home | Unit Coordinator – Full Time Permanent | 40 Hours per Week

Are you an experienced aged care professional ready to step into a role where your leadership truly matters?
At Bupa Redwood Care Home, we’re looking for a confident Unit Coordinator who thrives on ownership, structure, and delivering consistently high standards of care.

This is a full-time, permanent leadership role (40 hours per week) within a 94-bed care home providing dementia, rest home, and hospital-level care. You’ll be hands-on, visible, and trusted to coordinate daily clinical operations while supporting and guiding a dedicated care team.

If you’re someone who enjoys leading from the floor, balancing clinical excellence with people leadership, and creating a calm, well-run unit, this role is built for you.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
Lead a team of caregivers and nurses to provide the highest quality clinical care within the Unit
Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Skills and Experience

You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.

Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
Previous experience and a passion for leading a team to mentor and support others
Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
