Description & Requirements
If you're an experienced Clinical Manager who thrives on leadership, accountability, and raising clinical standards, this is an opportunity that's different from the typical care home leadership role.
Bupa New Zealand is seeking a Roaming Clinical Manager to support care homes across the country. While travel is part of the role, this position is far more than visiting different locations. You'll step into services that need strong clinical leadership, work alongside General Managers and clinical teams, maintain high standards of care, support compliance, strengthen clinical performance, and help ensure continuity for residents and staff.
Unlike short-term relief positions, you'll have the opportunity to become embedded within a care home for a meaningful period. Depending on the needs of the service, you may support a home for several weeks or a few months, giving you the time to build relationships, understand the team, implement improvements, and see the impact of your leadership firsthand before moving on to your next assignment.
This role will suit someone who enjoys solving problems, building capability within teams, and confidently leading clinical services through periods of change or transition. We are also interested in speaking with experienced healthcare leaders from other sectors who have previous aged care experience and are looking for a more rewarding opportunity where their leadership has a visible and lasting impact.
With a starting salary from $124,000, accommodation and travel covered, and the opportunity to contribute across multiple communities throughout New Zealand, this is a unique role for a genuine clinical leader who wants both purpose and variety in their work.
