Description & Requirements
Registered Nurse – Night Shift | Fixed Term to Jan 2027 | 32 Hours Per Week
If you’re a Registered Nurse who thrives in a calm, structured environment and enjoys working with autonomy, this night shift opportunity at Bupa Winara Care Home in Waikanae offers the stability and rhythm many roles simply don’t. With a fixed-term contract through to January 2027 and a predictable 6-week rotating roster, you’ll always know when you’re working, giving you the ability to plan life outside of work with confidence.
This role is well suited to an experienced nurse who is confident leading a shift overnight, making sound clinical decisions, and maintaining high standards of care with minimal disruption. You’ll bring strong assessment skills, the ability to prioritise and stay organised across the shift, and the confidence to manage medication rounds, respond to changes in resident condition, and escalate when needed. Just as important is your ability to remain calm under pressure, work independently while staying accountable, and build trust with residents through respectful, person-centred care during quieter hours.
