Registered Nurse – Fixed Term until 21-August-2026 | Morning Shifts | 32 Hours per Week

This fixed-term opportunity (1 March – 21 August 2026) at Bupa Fergusson Care Home in Upper Hutt is ideal for an experienced RN who values consistency, teamwork, and delivering high-quality clinical care without the pressure of rotating shifts.

Working 4 days on, 2 days off, you’ll be part of a supportive care home environment where strong systems, calm routines, and resident-focused care come first. This role suits an RN who is confident, organised, and ready to make a meaningful impact during a key period for the home.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time until 21-Aug-2026
• Hours: Average 32 hours per week
• Shift Time: Morning Shifts
• Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
• Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
• Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.

• Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
• Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
• Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives
