The purpose of the role
Bupa’s Procurement division has an opening for a Business Student to join the team on a 12-month paid internship. In this hands-on placement, you’ll contribute to purchasing activities, efficient procurement operations through documentation preparation, supplier engagement, and support across negotiation and evaluation processes.
As a part of a large procurement team, this placement offers continuous learning, exposure to senior leaders, and the chance to build foundational business skills across the end-to-end procurement process. You’ll be curious, flexible and have a collaborative spirit.
This hybrid internship will be based from Bupa’s Exhibition Street offices, Melbourne CBD.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Be available to work 38 hours, Monday to Friday for a 12-month period.
- Currently in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate degree in Business and Technology, Commerce, Global Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Law, Finance, or a related business discipline, with a strong academic record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Methodical, with an ability to follow procedures, maintain confidentiality, and uphold compliance requirements.
- Clear communication, organisation and attention to detail skills.
