The purpose of this job is:
The Finance Business Partner (contract until October 2027) position plays a key role in partnering with our Health Services business to provide finance advice and commercial insight to identify opportunities, influence decision making and drive continuous growth.
This involves strong partnership skills and strong technical understanding of cost, budget, forecast and financial performance. You will be the Finance Business Partner who provides commercial and financial advice to key stakeholder within the Finance Team and Business Leadership Teams. You will take ownership of month end deliverables, opex planning, FTE & operational drivers, channel effectiveness analysis, commercial support for projects and initiatives, market insights, strategic support, data analysis and BI support.
How will you help?
- Partner with the Business Leadership team to drive key commercial decisions that optimise financial performance
- Be a leading and valued contributor at key leadership committees to drive proactive approach to financial problem solving and decision making
- Deliver the planning cycle including formal budgeting and forecasting processes which include bottom-up detail and assumptions that can be identified as key drivers and variables for performance metric reporting
- Support the monthly process to ensure the P&L is reflective of business performance and complete the monthly reporting across the broader APAC and group requirements
- Deliver strategic commercial insights on business performance, incorporating macro-economic and market-based trends
- Define commercial and financial objectives in collaboration with the Finance Director, Strategy team, Head of Finance and Business Leaders
- Drive efficiencies within the businesses cost base whilst ensuring sufficient resources to enable the business to continue to grow
- Lead financial analysis and advice for new business/investment opportunities, ensuring business case proposals meet corporate hurdle rates Monitor new business/investment performance to ensure delivery against Business Case
- Support delivery of relevant and timely commercially based financial reports, analysis, benchmarking and commentary of financial performance
What you’ll need to make it possible:
A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field is essential. CA/CPA is also required.
You will bring extensive experience in accounting or finance, with strong analytical capability and a proven track record of developing dynamic financial models to support scenario analysis and business planning. Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (such as Power BI or SQL) and financial systems is essential for managing and optimising financial operations.
You are achievement oriented, with strong problem solving skills and the ability to deliver timely outcomes in complex and ambiguous environments.
