The purpose of this job is…
In this role, you’ll turn complex business challenges into clear, actionable insights that drive performance and strategy. Using strong curiosity and data expertise, you’ll identify opportunities, influence senior stakeholders through compelling storytelling, and enable data-driven decision-making across CC&G.
You’ll lead continuous improvement in data practices, optimise resources and emerging technologies, and act as a trusted advisor. This role combines team leadership with a hands-on approach, requiring strong data tool proficiency and end-to-end delivery of impactful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic insights that highlight operational impact, customer friction, and market performance.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations to support senior leaders’ decision-making.
- Engage and influence stakeholders through strong advisory relationships and compelling data storytelling.
- Lead and mentor analysts, fostering a culture of critical thinking and solution-oriented problem solving.
- Drive operational excellence by aligning data with business objectives, optimising resources, and adopting new data architectures.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and business processes.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- 5+ years’ experience in business advisory/consulting, including 2+ years in a relevant industry
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex insights into clear, impactful recommendations
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while remaining hands-on in delivery
- Proficiency in Databricks, Python, and SQL
- Strong problem-solving capability with a focus on practical, outcome-driven solutions
- Track record of identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives in complex, ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted advisory relationships
