Are you a workforce planning expert with a knack for rostering optimisation? We’re looking for a Workforce Optimisation Specialist to support our optical team across 49 stores, ensuring smooth operations and effective staff deployment.
This is a 9 month-fixed term opportunity with a potential for ongoing work.
Bupa is offering 24hours a week for this Part time role.
What will you do?
- Build and streamline rostering practices across Bupa Optical stores
- Take ownership of roster checks and workforce planning
- Partner with Store Leaders, Area Manager and Regional Managers to ensure the rostering system is up to date with the correct base roster
- Ensure annual leaver cover is managed efficiently to maintain seamless store operations
- Contribute to our Workforce Optimisation Project, helping drive efficiency improvements
- Contribute to monthly and adhoc reports, covering data on individual stores, Locum usage and other projects
You may also carry out any other duties reasonably requested by Bupa from time to time.

What do I need?
- Experience in workforce planning, rostering, or scheduling (ideally a multi-site environment)
- Previous experience with using Dimensions is idea but not essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise staffing
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
