The Technology Application Support role is a 1‑year FTC with the potential for extension and future permanency. The position involves interstate travel, and while the preference is to hire someone locally based in QLD, candidates from NSW or Victoria can also be considered, provided they are able to travel.
The person in this role will be supporting practices, delivering training to practice staff, clinicians, and practice managers.
About the Role
The Technology Application Support Dental role will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation and implementation of the Dental Practice Management Software (PMS) in the Bupa Dental network. The role is pivotal to the standardisation of the Bupa Dental practices network and the customer experience across all our channels.
The role will ensure the standardised configuration and maintenance of the PMS (Dentally) and the integrated applications which ensure Business Operations and Clinical needs are meet. The role will be required to provide strategic and operational advice on how to leverage new and existing capabilities. This role will also be required to provide advice and recommendations to all areas of the business seeking to leverage PMS capability or data. In addition, supporting the Technology, Data, Digital and Marketing teams with BAU or project activities which leverage the PMS capabilities.
Key to the role will be leading the training and change activities for the Dental network. This will ensure the onboarding of new practices, development and rollout of training and communications for new functionality and ongoing uplift of the existing practice team.
Qualifications
- Minimum Practice Management Software (PMS) Administration experience
- Demonstrated capability to Onboard and Transition PMS and imaging applications
- Ability to coordinate and manage the activities required to ensure the operating
- Intermediate skills in MS Office products (including MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and SharePoint (including site page management)
- Compelling communication and presentation skills
- Experience in a facilitator or coaching role, responsible for improving skills for customer facing people
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and rapport with a wide range of participants and stakeholders Business Use Only\Anyone
- Strong experience managing group dynamics
- Experience in dental industry highly desirable
- Proven project management skills to enable the transition/onboarding of PMS applications
- Proficiency with service management tools and processes.
