The role purpose.
We have a permanent opportunity within the COO function for a Senior Technology Risk & Control Analyst to join Yvonne Laycy and her team. You’ll provide support and expertise in operating and maturing a first-line risk and controls function across Information Technology for the Bupa APAC Market Unit (“MU”). Provide expertise and support to ensure information technology risk is appropriately identified, assessed, and managed, and that all related control, compliance and assurance responsibilities meet the requirements of Bupa enterprise frameworks and policies and relevant regulatory and legislative requirements of the markets in which Bupa operates.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Cyber Risk (and general technology risk) 2-3 years
- Academic/ professional qualifications, Diploma or Bachelor in a general degree such as business or communications or equivalent role and context experience
- •ISACA (CRISC, CISA, CISM) highly regarded
- Ability to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high-stress, high-impact situations
- Excellent prioritisation capabilities with an aptitude for breaking down work into management parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part
- An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviours
- An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business
- Knowledge of industry information and technology risk management methods, standards and processes (eg. ISO, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, CRISC, CISA, TOGAF) an advantage.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, payment card industry and regulatory requirements.
- An understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge
- An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, verbally and in writing, in an easily-understood and actionable manner
- High level of personal integrity
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or process specialist is desirable
- 3+ years having worked in a complex business environment
