The opportunity:
The Senior Finance Analyst - Healthcare Centres is integral to delivering comprehensive financial analysis, commercial modelling, business partnering, and financial support across the Health Care Centres business.
How will I help?
- Month-End Close: Oversee month-end close processes, delivering P&L reporting, dashboards, commentary, and other monthly requirements for the Healthcare Centres business
- Variance Analysis: Review month-end results, providing analysis and explanations for variances. Collaborate with the financial reporting and FP&A teams to resolve anomalies
- Executive Reporting: Prepare content for executive meetings, board papers, and dashboard inputs as required
- Project Reporting: Complete month-end project reporting and forecasts, working closely with key stakeholders and project managers
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for Bupa Health Care, covering the 3-Year Plan (3YP), BPC, QBR, and BEF submissions. Ensure detailed planning at individual centre and consolidated levels
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations teams to develop an annual Healthcare Centres Plan P&L for review by senior management in Health Care Centres and Finance
- Business Case Modelling: Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, Healthcare Centres, to support business case modelling for new greenfield projects and M&A activities, specifically for health centre acquisitions
- Market Analysis and Benchmarking: Conduct market analysis and benchmark commercial performance against key competitors to inform strategic direction
- Planning Model Maintenance: Maintain and enhance the existing Excel commercial model for Health Care Centres, initially developed by EY
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with ANZ Financial Accounting and FP&A teams to address queries and ad hoc requests
- Process Improvement: Drive efficiencies and streamline forecasting and budgeting processes, focusing on continuous improvement.

What do I need?
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree, with a postgraduate or professional qualification such as CA or CPA preferred. With over five years of experience in a finance or commercial support role, they will have demonstrated expertise in reporting, planning, financial modelling, and commercial analysis.
Strong analytical skills are essential, along with a proven ability to use data to solve complex business challenges. The successful candidate will possess excellent commercial judgment and a keen understanding of business drivers, enabling them to identify and address key business questions effectively. They must also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining financial concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Technical proficiency in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and planning is required, as well as a talent for translating data into actionable insights tailored to stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. A high level of attention to detail and advanced Excel skills are critical, with experience in Power BI considered a strong advantage.
