The purpose of this role:
The Senior Employee Relations and Compliance Specialist supports the delivery of a consistent and effective ER and compliance approach across Australia and New Zealand. It also contributes to building organisational capability through education, mentoring and advisory support to People Leaders and Teams.
Through strong collaboration and specialist expertise, the role supports effective risk management, governance, and compliance, helping to maintain a safe, fair, and sustainable workplace aligned to Bupa’s values, regulatory obligations, and broader People strategy.
What you’ll need to make it possible

- Demonstrated capability in building the ER and WR capability of others, particularly in relation to Awards and collective agreements.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence outcomes across senior leaders, technical specialists, people teams, and operational managers.
- Advanced analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information and data into clear, practical and actionable insights.
- A client focused, outcomes driven approach with the ability to prioritise and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
