The Senior Analyst – Portfolio Performance & Reporting plays a pivotal role in bringing clarity and depth on understanding portfolio and project performance across Bupa APAC. This role is responsible for reviewing monthly performance reporting and dashboard, leveraging Power BI to build and improve these dashboards and reports to generate actionable insights. Through these insights, the role empowers decision-makers at the highest levels, including the MD, CFO, and CEO, shaping strategic choices that steer the organisation’s success.
How will I help?
- Lead the end-to-end review of monthly reporting outputs and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring all data presented is accurate, timely, and aligned to business priorities.
- Building and improving new and existing dashboards and reporting to review portfolio and project performance
- Critically assess completeness and relevance of reporting materials prior to distribution, validating data integrity and tailoring dashboards to stakeholder needs
- Coordinate preparation and readiness of reporting outputs for monthly meetings and executive reviews, working proactively with data owners, technical teams, and business units
- Ensure the regular monthly meeting rhythm operates smoothly across the business, supporting the scheduling, preparation, and follow-up of meetings at all levels
- Collaborate with business units and project teams to ensure their reporting and insights are integrated and aligned for the executive ELT monthly meeting
- Analyse portfolio performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to support Heads of Portfolio Management and senior stakeholders in decision-making
- Collaborate closely with Heads of Portfolio Management, business units, and enabling functions to ensure reporting supports strategic objectives and value delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting review processes and insight generation

What do I need?
The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in business, technology, data analytics, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in data visualisation, dashboarding, and reporting within complex, matrixed organisations is essential, typically gained over five or more years in similar roles.
You will have a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports. Strong technical skills in Power BI—including DAX, Power Query M, and SQL—are required, alongside experience in data integration, validation, and quality assurance. A high level of analytical capability and attention to detail is key to ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting outputs.
This role also requires an eye for design, ensuring dashboards are engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing. Experience in using portfolio and project management tools (e.g. Planview) is desirable.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement is essential, including identifying opportunities to enhance reporting processes, streamline workflows, and champion new technologies. Strong collaboration and communication skills are required, with the ability to work effectively across teams and present complex data in a clear, compelling manner. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships will be critical to delivering insights that support informed decision-making.
