The purpose of this job is…..
The Sales Enablement Manager equips Bupa’s sales teams with the skills, tools, and insights to deliver consistent, customer‑focused conversations that drive sustainable results. The role translates strategy into frontline execution, embedding best‑practice behaviours and consistent ways of working across the sales lifecycle to drive continuous performance improvement.
Partnering closely with cross‑functional teams, it identifies performance gaps, delivers targeted enablement solutions, and ensures effective adoption, ultimately lifting sales effectiveness, enhancing customer experience, and supporting a confident, high‑performing sales workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Build capability and confidence across inbound and outbound sales teams, embedding value-led selling, strong customer conversations, and alignment to customer needs and Bupa’s proposition.
- Develop and maintain practical sales playbooks, ensuring consistent execution across offers, competitor positioning, and objection handling.
- Equip leaders with coaching frameworks, tools, and methodologies to drive consistent, high-impact coaching and measurable performance uplift.
- Design and deliver targeted training and capability programs, ensuring sustainable skill development through ongoing reinforcement and application.
- Provide simple, actionable resources to support daily sales execution, enabling confidence during campaigns, change, and new offer launches.
- Use data, insights, and frontline feedback to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment, embed enablement initiatives, and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- 7+ years’ experience in sales enablement, sales operations, training, or performance improvement
- Proven capability uplift experience across inbound/outbound sales, including playbooks, coaching frameworks, and training programs
- Background in contact centre, sales, or retention environments, ideally within regulated industries
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies (needs-based selling, value-led conversations, objection handling, conversion optimisation)
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally and drive adoption without direct authority
- Strong analytical skills, using data and insights to identify gaps and inform enablement strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, translating complex information into clear, practical guidance
- Experience designing and delivering onboarding and ongoing development programs; relevant tertiary qualifications desirable
