The purpose of this job is…..
The Retail Support Partner drives growth by ensuring the effective execution of go-to-market strategies across all Bupa Optical locations. The role ensures products, branding, and promotional activities are consistently delivered, supporting a high-quality customer experience aligned with Bupa’s brand promise.
Acting as a link between Product, Operations, and Marketing, the role translates strategies into clear in-store execution, improves operational readiness, and helps strengthen product, branding, and promotional capability across the Optical store network.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Marketing team to operationalise and deliver the yearly promotional calendar through the Optical store network.
- Ensuing that campaign execution is delivered within agreed implementation requirements (including scope, budget, timelines).
- Ensuring campaign trackers are accurately managed and measured and contribute to regular reports to monitor campaign performance and optimisation.
- Act as the primary conduit between Operations and Marketing, ensuring seamless integration of campaign planning, delivery and execution, and enabling two‑way communication
- Driving Local Area Marketing initiatives through proactively identifying opportunities for activation.
- Proactively identify and appropriately communicate risks to delivery, including anticipating need for change. Accountable for ensuring campaign delivery risks are mitigated to prevent commercial and operational impact. Lead the end-to-end delivery of instore sales sprints, from concept design to successful execution.
- Conducting ongoing competitor monitoring across pricing, product ranges (frames, lenses, contact lenses), promotions, services, and in-store experience.
- Ensuring all marketing materials, signage, and point-of-sale displays are correctly installed and up to brand standards through quality control measures and in-store engagement.
- Audit store layouts to confirm product placement, shelf facings, and promotional displays match planograms.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications.
- 3+ years’ experience working in marketing and campaign delivery.
- Great people skills to manage cross-functional and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to successfully operate in ambiguity is a must.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to partner across in-store teams and marketing teams to influence commercial outcomes.
- Ability to train, engage and motivate retail staff.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and visual merchandising.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling between store locations. Self-motivation and a proactive mindset is crucial.
- Basic reporting and data-entry skills.
