That’s why we are seeking a Registered Nurse like you to join our Bupa Redwood Care Home located in Rotorua to enrich the lives of our resident’s and be part of an inclusive culture where you can make a difference while growing your career. This is a permanent, part time role working an average of 21 hours per week on a rotating roster pattern of 3 days on, 5 days off. You will work a mix of mostly afternoon shifts (2:45pm - 11:15pm) and night shifts (11pm - 7am).
- You will work a total of 168 hours across an 8-weekly roster cycle (average of 21 hours per week).
Where You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide person-centred clinical care for our 94 residents across rest home, hospital, dementia, and specialised dementia care.
- Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Your Person-First Approach
You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
- Ideally experience in caring for residents with dementia.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
