About the Practice:
Our Maxillofacial Surgery Braddon practice is a part of our ever-growing Bupa network of dental, optical and health insurance practices and stores!
Maxillofacial Surgery Braddon is well known for its oral and maxillofacial health above all else. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Receptionist as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. Team dynamic is incredibly important to us in our 2-chair practice. The Opportunity:
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Braddon, ACT practice available for Dental Receptionists seeking casual work:
- Modern dental practice with 2 chairs running a wide range of dental treatments

- Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
- Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Handling payments
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
- High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner
You'll be:
- Available to work casual shifts on a rotating roster between Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm. Ideally available minimum 3 to 4 days per week. Monday availability is essential
- Previous Dental/Medical Reception experience will be highly regarded
- Previous Dental Assisting experience will also be viewed favourably
- You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service and patient care
- Organised with attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
