The opportunity
Bupa has a new full-time permanent opening for a Process Improvement Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for leading initiatives that improve operational efficiency, optimise business processes and embed a culture of continuous improvement across Bupa Village Aged Care (BVAC) Australia.
This is a leadership role within the Program Management Office Team that has accountability for partnering with Leadership Teams, Process Owners, and Specialists focusing on identifying, designing and implementing process improvement opportunities, streamlining workflows, and ensuring that best practices are consistently applied and documented to achieve operational excellence.
In addition, you will be responsible for delivering the currency, accuracy and maintenance of documents on BVAC’s Knowledge Management System. Working with the business, you will develop and coordinate the approach to managing continuous improvement and change suggestions ensuring workflows and processes are streamlined, changes are embedded across the business and reflected in all relevant processes and documents.
This is a permanent role and may be based at either our Melbourne or Sydney offices.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to possess:
- Extensive experience in leading process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Visio and SharePoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to challenge the status quo and negotiate, provide thought leadership, drive change and streamline processes.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and proficiency in process mapping
- Document management knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across a variety of roles and levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey meaningful information and concepts.
- Sound understanding of risk management.
