Description & Requirements
At Bupa, we’ve been working hard to help Australians take care of their health and wellbeing for over 75 years.
You might know us a health insurer, but we do so much more! Today, more than 2,500 clinicians (including 500 doctors) provide Bupa health services, including general practice and allied health, dental, optical and audiology, visa medical checks for the Australian Government, and services for Australian Defence Force veterans and personnel.
Now, we want to play an even bigger role in improving the long-term health of all Australians. We’re operating and building a network of Healthcare Centres to help people access GP and multi-disciplinary primary care services from the experts they trust, all under one roof.
About the opportunity:
We’re looking for an Operations Improvement & Change Manager to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and innovation across our Healthcare Centre network.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of improving practice operations, optimising processes, and delivering impactful change initiatives—all while supporting high-quality patient care. You’ll work hand-in-hand with operational leaders, clinical teams, and cross-functional partners to create a more efficient, effective, and future-ready healthcare system.
This is a 12-month Fixed term role, that can be based in Melbourne or Sydney. We offer flexible working arrangements, so when you’re not visiting sites to meet with key stakeholders, you’ll have the option to work from home or from one of our offices in the Melbourne or Sydney CBD.

- Developing and executing change management strategies that foster adoption, communication, and engagement across teams.
- Providing subject matter expertise on Healthcare Centre operational processes to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Leveraging data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess network operations and identify areas for improvement.
