About the role:
Our Visa Medical Assessment centre in the Adelaide CBD is looking for a Lead Physician to join our collaborative, close-knit team on a permanent full basis.
Reporting through to the Centre Manager, you will manage the panel physician workforce in your centre, including rostering, providing leadership and coaching and helping our people make the most of their role and their work life! You’ll also act as the link to the national BMVS medical network and provide clinical expertise to the centre manager and centre staff. This role would be ideal for a Senior Resident or Registrar who enjoyed managing clinicians and is keen to develop into a multi-dimensional leadership role.
About You
Our team is looking for an approachable leader with:
- Robust leadership qualities and the ability to motivate, coach and manage a diverse range of clinicians.
- Broad clinical experience
- Knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of legislative and regulatory environments in the Immigration area.
- A reputation for effective and timely service delivery and a history of making things happen.
- A detail-orientated but consultative management style
- General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
