Description & Requirements
Be at the heart of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives – this includes both physical and mental health.
Bupa recognises the ever-increasing demand for mental health care and is committed to bridging the gap in service supply by developing a national network of mental health clinics to fulfil our purpose – this network forms a part of Bupa’s future vision and we’re focused on providing accessible, high-quality, and innovative mental health care across Australia, ensuring that clients and patients receive the support they need when it matters most.
Introducing Mindplace, a part of Bupa.
About the Role
As a Clinical Lead at Mindplace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how multidisciplinary mental health care is delivered. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines clinical excellence with team leadership, governance and day-to-day clinical oversight.
You will act as the senior clinical escalation point across all specialisms within the MDT, while also maintaining an active caseload and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians, fostering safe, high-quality and consistent clinical practice
- Act as the senior clinical escalation point for complex presentations, risk management and ethical decision-making
- Maintain an active caseload, delivering individual, group and hybrid (in-person and telehealth) care
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship and support to clinicians across the MDT
- Partner closely with Operations and the Clinical Director to embed the Mindplace Model of Care and support clinic performance
- Uphold clinical governance standards, quality improvement initiatives and professional compliance
Your Opportunity
This is a full-time role, with flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
You’ll be joining Mindplace at a critical growth stage, with the opportunity to influence how clinics operate clinically as the network expands nationally. As we work toward our goal of 60 Mindplace clinics across Australia, this role offers strong long-term career progression and leadership opportunities.
So Why Bupa?
- Clinical leadership with purpose – influence how multidisciplinary mental health care is delivered
- Career growth – as Mindplace grows, so do opportunities into senior and national leadership roles
- Strong referral network – access to a consistent client base through Bupa’s national network
- Financial security – permanent employment means cancellations don’t impact your salary
- Multidisciplinary environment – work alongside psychologists, psychiatrists and allied health professionals
- Flexibility and balance – leadership without losing connection to clinical work
