The purpose of this job is…..
As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we’re growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres so we can provide a Bupa experience for our visa applicants in the communities where they live. This has created a range of frontline and leadership roles in new purpose-built medical centres and opportunities to grow your career with a global health care brand where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
What you’ll need to make it possible
Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
Details of these roles include:
- 12 Month Fixed Term contract - Full-Time Position
- Medical centre hours are from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday (during peak periods it can vary from 7am -7pm), and potential for weekends 8-4pm
- Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours
The role includes:
- Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
- Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
- Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
- Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record
Your background:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
- 2 years phlebotomy experience essential
- Paediatric experience desirable but not essential
- Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
- Excellent customer service skills
