About the role:

Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.

We are looking for a superstar part time Pathology collector for an initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extension or conversion to permanency based on operational requirements)! 4-day availability required across Tuesday to Friday between 7:30am to 6:30pm. Along with Saturdays and Sundays between 8am to 4pm (generous weekend penalty rates apply). Details of the role include:

Saturday and/or Sunday is a must
Strong team player
Medical centre hours are from 7:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday; During peak Saturday and Sunday 8am - 4pm
Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours

The role includes:

Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record

Your background:

Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
2-3 years phlebotomy experience is essential
Paediatrics venepuncture is desirable
Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
Excellent customer service skills
