Description & Requirements
The purpose of the Digital Data Specialist role is to implement the digital data layer of Bupa’s digital estate as per standard, within the Enterprise Enabler & HCP Crew.
This Digital Data Specialist role will work within the Digital Data & Content team in translating Enterprise requirements into action, will maintain and extend the digital data layer so that it is coherent, transparent and consumable; and ensure that digital data capture is consistent over time to enable digital metrics tracking and trending.
This role also provides technical support and advice in CRO & Personalisation program and Insights Driven Optimisation for website
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the digital data layer architecture and be the contact point for business stakeholders seeking advice on implementation practices and making sense of digital data.
- Design and implement tagging strategies for both internal and external digital development teams.
- Develop and build audiences from the digital data layer and manage integrations with execution platforms e.g. Live Person
- Provide guidance in the integration of digital data and enterprise data, leveraging the digital data for doing end-to end customer journey analytics
- Contribute your expertise to decisions on digital metrics.
- Provide work estimates and contribute to evaluating work backlog across a diverse portfolio of requirements.
- Work as a member of an efficient digital analytics "factory" with appropriate balance of automation and deeper bespoke reporting.
- Collaborate with other reporting and insights teams across Bupa to share information and leading practices.
- Advocate for evidence-based decisions and a data-driven culture across Bupa and support initiatives that seek to better understand customer behaviour and preferences to aid the identification, prioritisation and execution of Bupa ANZ initiatives.
- Collaborate with the to drive the adoption of data and digital best practices and champion the use of common data assets, including the continued uplift and refinement of digital analytics, tools and platforms.
Skills/Experience Required
- Tertiary qualification in business/statistics/analytical or related discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with experience in Marketing Tag implementation and running multivariate test for insight-based optimisation
- Demonstrated experience setting up tags using Enterprise Tag Management Solutions such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager or Ensighten and a good understanding of tag management data layer
- Extensive experience working with Adobe Analytics and Target Premium (preferable)
- Demonstrated experience working with Tealium, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target or other tag management and analytic solutions, Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), Sitecore (desirable), Tealium audience manager and Tealium data access
- Experience working with, and having working knowledge of, JavaScript is highly advantageous
- Experience working directly with developers in implementing analytic solutions
- Experience within an optimisation program aimed at improving onsite conversion.
- Experience in online marketing campaigns, across channels including SEO, SEM, Display and Social.
