The purpose of this job is…
The Dental Assistant supports safe, high-quality patient care by maintaining infection control standards and ensuring treatment rooms and equipment are prepared, with the role created to strengthen clinical support and meet growing patient demand.
What you’ll need to make it possible:
- Casual availability Monday–Thursday; Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded.
- Provide chair-side assistance to dental professionals, including suction, instrument and material handling, mixing techniques, assisting with X-rays, and knowledge of dental instrumentation.
- Maintain clinical standards, including cleaning and preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with infection control, WHS policies, and BDC procedures.
- Support practice operations, including managing appointment bookings, confirmations, cancellations and rebooking’s, while working with a medium level of accountability and discretion.
