An exciting, 12 month fixed term opportunity has become available for a Data Engineer
The Data Analyst is a key delivery role for a range of data outcomes across the data lifecycle. The role and team will develop and deliver all data analysis outcomes for projects, large, medium and small change as well as assisting Data Operations with operational triage. This increasingly important role allows the intelligent use data aligned to Bupa global strategy. This function under the direction of the Lead Data Analyst will provide insightful analysis that details source system (1st and 3rd party) reporting, analytics and cloud data platform data and processes to aid continuous improvement.
What will I be doing?
- Support all data analysis requirements for both Health Insurance and Health Service business functions
- Delivery of data outcomes to improve customer outcomes and internal process improvements
- Delivery of core capability in terms of insightful analysis to aid root cause investigation, triage, uplift of our critical data (customer, product, provider) today and future state
- Statistical testing and quality assurance of all datasets to meet data completeness and accuracy standards align to CPG235 Data Risk Management APRA guidelines
- Support the maintenance a range of current and future state data outcomes from licensing, user activity, environments, change management, model build and report generation
- Provides guidance on Bupa Master and Reference data collation and validation controls.
Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Data Management area within a data analyst or similar role either Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Qualification in Computer Science or related discipline/an equivalent alternative combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Proficiency with tools and techniques for analysing, data manipulation and presentation (e g. SAS, SQL, Python & Power BI)
- Proficient Oracle or SQL Server programming skills analysing and manipulating the data.
- Knowledge or experience of data integration tools such as ODI, ADF & SSIS with analysing and manipulating data
