Description & Requirements
About the Role
- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking a highly motivated Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Manager to drive the continuous improvement of our digital sales and customer journeys. Working within a well-established and highly regarded experimentation program, you will own and shape a strategic roadmap of experiments designed to improve conversion, customer experience, and commercial outcomes across key digital channels.
Partnering closely with Product Managers, Analysts, Behavioural Researchers, Designers, and Engineers, you'll use customer insights, behavioural science, and data-driven experimentation to identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and deliver measurable business impact. You will also play a key role in driving continuous discovery, planning and prioritising experiments that support an ongoing discovery roadmap, uncover customer needs, validate opportunities, and inform both product and optimisation decisions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a mature optimisation function with strong executive support, dedicated resources, and the opportunity to influence how experimentation capabilities continue to evolve across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a prioritised experimentation backlog focused on improving digital conversion and customer outcomes.
- Design, deliver and oversee A/B tests and other experimentation initiatives to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
- Plan and prioritise experiments that support a continuous discovery roadmap, generating customer and business insights that inform product strategy, optimisation opportunities, and future experimentation.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape and execute a strategic optimisation roadmap aligned to customer and business goals.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative customer insights to identify opportunities for experimentation, discovery, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure experiments are designed and implemented with appropriate rigour to generate reliable, actionable outcomes.
- Communicate experiment plans, progress, learnings, and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Research, Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Contribute to the ongoing maturity of experimentation practices, methodologies, and capability uplift initiatives across the organisation.
- Support a culture of customer-centric decision-making through evidence-based recommendations and continuous learning.
About You

- At least 2–3 years' experience running or actively participating in an experimentation or optimisation function.
- Strong understanding of conversion optimisation, behavioural science, persuasion principles, and customer decision-making.
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data and customer insights into clear hypotheses and commercial outcomes.
- Customer-focused with a passion for improving digital experiences and solving customer problems.
- Experienced working in fast-paced, scaling environments while effectively managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, SiteSpect, or similar.
- Experience using digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or equivalent.
- Exposure to tools such as FullStory, and/or working knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript, will be highly regarded.
