The purpose of this job:
The Business Project Manager will drive the implementation of project and programme services to the wider business within required timeframes and budgets.
The role will require very strong stakeholder management, engagement and presentation skills, a focus on the customer, communication, project management knowledge, and experience in delivering a cross functional project in a complex portfolio delivery environment.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Experience in working in optimisation, delivery and design environments
- Minimum of a degree level education in a relevant discipline
- Program/ project manager qualifications highly sought (Agile, Scrum, Prince)
- Comprehensive experience in program delivery with application of popular methodologies and frameworks
- Outstanding product focus, stakeholder engagement and management skills, with demonstrable experience working closely with wider product teams.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar style role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mobilise teams through complex process and problem-solving meeting tight delivery schedules.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Manage and monitor program delivery schedules to effectively achieve key deliverables (timing/budget/scope).
- Identify and track risks ensuring mitigation and solutions are developed in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective risk identification, analysis, migration and communication.
- Identify and document project risks, issues and dependencies providing status updates to the Head of Program Optimisation BI & Change.
Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules with timely and agreed revisions to meet changing needs. - Prioritise initiatives and programs in line with the HI strategy and delivery hub ititiatives.
