About the Role
This is a Delivery Squad Business Analyst position, where you’ll bridge business needs and technical delivery within the Microsoft Dynamics platform. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, and Testers to ensure product features are understood, refined, and translated into high-quality user stories that enable successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Feature Understanding and Analysis
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand business objectives, scope, and value of features within Microsoft Dynamics
- Translate business problems into clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria
User Story Elaboration
- Break down features and epics into user stories that are INVEST-compliant
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs and refinement sessions with technical teams
- Maintain traceability from requirements through to delivered functionality
Delivery Support
- Partner with developers and testers during sprints to clarify requirements
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Support defect triage and ensure fixes align with business expectations
Stakeholder and Documentation Management
- Communicate clearly and proactively with both business and technical stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and champion improvements in BA practices and tooling
- Promote Agile and Microsoft Dynamics best practices across the squad
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years as a Business Analyst in Agile delivery teams
- Experience delivering CRM solutions, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Service, or Customer Insights)
- Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria (GHERKIN format desirable), and supporting sprint delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
More About You
You’ll bring a mix of technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong collaboration skills, along with:
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall environments
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart
- A consultative mindset with a passion for solving complex problems
- Exposure to mentoring junior BAs or contributing to Communities of Practice is a plus
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or Agile certifications (desirable)
