The Opportunity:
The Ancillary Program Delivery Lead is responsible for the end-to-end oversight, support, and delivery of the Claims Transformation Program of work specific to the Ancillary function at Bupa. The role will drive the implementation of the strategic initiatives to optimise the customer, provider and employee experience whilst focussing on the benefit delivery, ensuring sustainable value across the Ancillary network.
Reporting to the General Manager, Ancillary Partnerships and Provider Operations, this role will work closely with a range of business and industry stakeholders to ensure a sustainable impact to relationships and mutually beneficial outcomes are achieved. This role will work closely with workstream lead and various stakeholders aligned to the initiatives, ensuring that momentum is carried forward to meet the pre-agreed targets. Most importantly, this role will perform the function of Subject Matter Expert guiding the relevant stakeholders to best practice and the relevant industry standards.
Given the number of initiatives, the scale and impact of the program and associated timeframes, the role will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously and therefore must be a delivery focussed leader.
What You’ll Be Doing
Here's what you can look forward to in this role:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Ancillary Claims Optimisation work.
- Will perform the role of Subject Matter Expert that guides the relevant initiatives to completion whilst maintaining business critical functions.
- Prepare relevant reporting and presentations that align key business functionality to support the prioritisation and delivery of the initiatives.
- Development and production of risk management strategies, reports, and analytical reports
- Establish and monitor appropriate project governance mechanisms for each initiative and ensure alignment with the Delivery Hub to gain alignment across the enterprise
- Identify resource gaps that may reduce the executable impact of the program.
- Foster a continuous improvement, innovation and customer centric approach that aligns to industry practices
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Experience dealing with ancillary providers and/or contracts is desirable.
- Demonstrated Project Management and Delivery experience
- An elevated level of risk management and analytical skills, with proven forecasting and reporting ability
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management strategy and execution
- Experience in liaising with external organisations/bodies such as professional associations
- Track record of achieving outcomes and deadlines in a high volume, pressured environment
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Be motivated and enthusiastic, able to work as part of a larger team and able to adapt quickly to demanding environments
- Strong negotiating skills
- High levels of computer literacy
- Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
